Nephilim: Fallen Angels’ Offspring

Nephilim Fallen Angels KJV

Nephilim and Gibborim in Genesis and Jude: KJV 1611

Discover the truth of the Nephilim and their offspring, the Gibborim, in the KJV Bible 1611 at Christ Sword. Genesis 6 and Jude reveal the fallen angels’ rebellion in the First World Age, per our Three World Ages doctrine. Genesis 6:4 states: “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renowme.” The Nephilim, from Hebrew naphal (to fall), are fallen angels, not their offspring, the Gibborim, equipping God’s elect for spiritual warfare in the Second World Age.

Jude 1:6 warns: “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgement of the great day.” This ties to end times deception, per Matthew 24:24: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders.”

Nephilim as Fallen Angels

Genesis 6:2 describes: “The sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.” The “sons of God” (bene ha-Elohim) are angels, per Bullinger’s Companion Bible and Job 1:6: “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.” These Nephilim, from Hebrew naphal (Strong’s H5307, to fall), rebelled during the Katabole, mating with human women to produce Gibborim. Consequently, Genesis 6:4’s “giants” refers to these fallen angels, not their “mighty men” offspring, aligning with our Pre-Existence doctrine.

Gibborim: The Giant Offspring

The offspring of the Nephilim and human women are called “mighty men” (gibborim, Strong’s H1368), or “gebers,” in Genesis 6:4: “The same became mighty men which were of old, men of renowme.” These hybrids, often translated as “giants” due to their stature, resulted from Satan’s attempt to corrupt humanity’s seed in the First World Age. Numbers 13:33 confirms their descendants: “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” These Anakim, likely Gibborim descendants, instilled fear, showing doubt’s danger for God’s elect.

Jude’s Confirmation

Jude 1:6–7 confirms: “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgement of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh.” These angels, the Nephilim, abandoned their heavenly roles (archē, per Bullinger), producing Gibborim through unnatural unions. 2 Peter 2:4 adds: “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgement.” Their punishment awaits the Third World Age, per Revelation 11:15: “And the seventh angel sounded.”

Historical Context

Genesis 6 occurs in the First World Age, pre-Katabole, before the Flood’s judgment, per 2 Peter 3:6: “Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.” The Nephilim’s rebellion prompted God’s wrath, destroying the Gibborim, as Genesis 6:5–7 notes: “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth… And the LORD said, I will destroy man.” Jude, written circa 65–80 AD, warns Second World Age believers of false teachers, linking their deception to the Nephilim’s sin, paralleling Matthew 24:24’s warning against false prophets.

Additional Scriptural Evidence

Further scriptures clarify the Nephilim and Gibborim. Isaiah 14:12 reveals Satan’s fall: “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!” This mirrors the Nephilim’s rebellion during the Katabole. Job 1:6 shows angels, including Satan, as “sons of God,” supporting their identity in Genesis 6:2. Jude 1:14–15 adds: “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied… Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.” This ties to Enoch’s accounts of fallen angels, reinforcing KJV 1611 truth, though we avoid non-canonical texts like 1 Enoch to uphold the Textus Messiah.

End Times Connection

The Nephilim’s rebellion foreshadows Satan’s deception at the sixth trump, per Revelation 6:2: “And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him.” Matthew 24:5 warns: “For many shall come in my name… and shall deceive many.” The Nephilim’s attempt to corrupt humanity mirrors the Antichrist’s end times deception, refuted by Revelation 9:4–5’s five-month tribulation: “And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months… which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.” Therefore, understanding the Nephilim prepares us for the seventh trump, per Matthew 24:31: “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet.”

Rejecting Pagan Idolatry

The Nephilim’s rebellion ties to idolatry, per Revelation 9:20: “And the rest of the men… repented not… that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold.” This aligns with Christ Sword’s rejection of Easter, linked to Ishtar worship, per Jeremiah 7:18: “The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.” Instead, we uphold God’s feasts, like Passover, per Leviticus 23:5: “In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’s passover.” Thus, we embrace the Textus Messiah of the KJV 1611.

Spiritual Warfare Wisdom

Genesis and Jude call for vigilance, per Matthew 10:16: “Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” False teachers, per Matthew 24:24, echo the Nephilim’s deception. Numbers 13:33’s fear of giants teaches us to trust God, not doubt, per our Three World Ages doctrine. We must stay faithful, avoiding rebellion like the Nephilim (Jude 1:6), and live truly, shunning fame like the “men of renowme” (Genesis 6:4), per Matthew 7:23: “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you.” Christ Sword rejects tithes, per Matthew 10:8: “Freely ye have received, freely give.” Our unmonetized site serves God’s elect to resist Satan’s lies in the Second World Age, preparing for the Third World Age’s victory, per Ephesians 6:17: “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
