Our KJV Bible Beliefs at Christ Sword

Teaching God’s Word

At Christ Sword we teach the 1611 KJV Bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse. God’s children must learn to read and study His Word on their own with understanding. For example, Hosea 4:6 warns: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” We equip believers to seek truth.

Many churches fail to teach Bible study skills. They discourage verifying sermons, lacking the Seal of God. False prophets, per Matthew 7:15, often focus on money, not truth. God sends no beggars.

The Sealed Book

Isaiah 29:11 reveals spiritual blindness:

[11] And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

Without Hebrew and Greek translations, God’s Word remains sealed. Ephesians 1:9 unveils “the mystery of his will.” Pastors teaching without translations offer soured milk, not meat. Thus, we use E.W. Bullinger’s Companion Bible Appendixes and Strong’s Expanded Concordance.

Three World Ages Doctrine

We believe in the Three World Ages, documented in the KJV. Most churches teach only the Second Age, from Adam and Eve to a False Rapture Theory. However, The Katabolé—Satan’s Rebellion—marks the First Age’s end. 2 Peter 3:5–7 confirms:

[5] For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
[6] Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
[7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

This flood, before Genesis 1:2, differs from Noah’s. We teach from Katabolé to Judgment Day, equipping God’s elect for the Third Age.

Rejecting Pagan Holidays

We reject pagan holidays like “Easter”, tied to the Babylonian goddess Ishtar. Jeremiah 7:18 exposes such practices: “The children gather wood… to make cakes to the queen of heaven.” God allows Kenites to follow lies, but His elect seek truth.

For instance, Acts 12:4 uses “Easter” in the KJV, but the Greek *pascha* means Passover. We honor biblical feasts, not pagan rituals, per Leviticus 23.

Against False Rapture Theories

We reject Margaret MacDonald (visionary) rapture theory. Pastors misuse 1 Thessalonians 4:17, ignoring verse 13’s subject—where the dead are. 2 Thessalonians 2:3–4 clarifies:

[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Non-Denominational Truth

Denominations divide believers, but Christ Sword unites God’s Word. Ephesians 4:5 declares: “One Lord, one faith, one baptism.” We teach the mystery of God’s will, per Ephesians 1:9, using the KJV and Bullinger’s tools.

We affiliate only with Christ’s Sword, not human labels. Matthew 16:18 affirms: “Upon this rock I will build my church.” Christ built one church, per Ephesians 1:22–23.

Were one body in Christ

No Tithes or Donations

Christ Sword accepts no tithes, love offerings, or donations. Matthew 10:8 commands:

[8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Tithing, rooted in the Old Testament (Leviticus 27:30), supported Levites. The New Testament, per 2 Corinthians 9:7, emphasizes voluntary giving. We give freely, unmonetized, to share KJV truth.

Spiritual Warfare Wisdom

Be wiser than the serpent, peaceful as a dove, per Matthew 10:16. False teachers, like Pharisees in Matthew 23:23, prioritize tithing over mercy and faith:

[23] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

God’s elect, sealed with truth, resist deception. We teach the meat of His Word, equipping believers for spiritual battle.
