GOD'S WRATH

KJV Overview of the 7 Seals 7 Trumpets 7 Vials

These represent God’s progressive judgments in the end times, culminating in Christ’s return and Yehovah’s ultimate victory.

The 7 Seals 7 Trumpets 7 Vials (also called Bowls) are sequential sets of judgments in Revelation, unfolding as part of God’s plan for the end times. They are often interpreted as progressive events leading to Christ’s return, with each set escalating in intensity. The KJV uses “vials” for what modern translations call “bowls” (Greek: phialē, a shallow bowl for pouring out).

Seven Trumpets ~ Pastor Arnold Murray ~ Shepherd’s Chapel

Where They Are Discussed in the KJV:

  1. The 7 Seals:
The 7 Seals are introduced as part of a scroll that only the Lamb (Jesus) is worthy to open, symbolizing the unfolding of God’s judgment.
A Seal is to place it in your mind so that you know what the program is and that you are a able servant of God because you know what’s going to happen.
The Seals are not in chronological order as far as events are concerned, the Seals are in chronological order as to the importance of the facts you should know. As to the first Seal is to the coming of the false Christ.

Location: Revelation 5–8

Details:

Revelation 5:1-5: The scroll with 7 seals is introduced, held by God on the throne. Only the Lamb can open it: “And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals… for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood” (5:1, 5:9).

Revelation 6:1-17: The first 6 seals are opened, each unleashing a judgment:

1st Seal (6:1-2): A white horse (conquest, often interpreted as the Antichrist or false peace).

2nd Seal (6:3-4): A red horse (war and bloodshed).

3rd Seal (6:5-6): A black horse (famine and economic hardship).

4th Seal (6:7-8): A pale horse (death, killing a fourth of the earth).

5th Seal (6:9-11): The martyrs under the altar, crying for justice.

6th Seal (6:12-17): Cosmic disturbances (earthquake, darkened sun, falling stars) and terror among humanity.

Revelation 8:1: The 7th seal is opened, leading to silence in heaven and introducing the 7 trumpets: “And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”

Note: Seal

  • Greek Spelling: σφραγίς (sphragis)
  • Pronunciation: In Koine Greek, it’s pronounced roughly as “s-fra-GEES” (with a hard “g” and stress on the second syllable). Modern Greek pronunciation may vary slightly, closer to “s-fra-YEES.”
  • Transliteration: The Greek letters are σ (s), φ (ph/f), ρ (r), α (a), γ (g), ί (i), ς (s). The “-tsel” in your spelling might be a misinterpretation of the Greek ending or a transliteration error.

2. The 7 Trumpets (Trumps):

The 7 Trumpets are sounded by angels, announcing further judgments following the 7th seal.
Trumps are to let you know it is time.
Trumps executes the command.

Location: Revelation 8–11

Details:

Revelation 8:2-6: Seven angels are given trumpets, preparing to sound them after an angel offers incense with the prayers of the saints.

Revelation 8:7-13, 9:1-21: The first 6 trumpets are sounded:

1st Trumpet (8:7): Hail and fire mixed with blood, burning a third of the earth, trees, and grass.

2nd Trumpet (8:8-9): A burning mountain cast into the sea, turning a third of the sea to blood, killing a third of sea creatures and ships.

3rd Trumpet (8:10-11): A star (Wormwood) falls, poisoning a third of rivers and springs, making water bitter and deadly.

4th Trumpet (8:12): A third of the sun, moon, and stars are darkened, reducing light for a third of the day and night.

5th Trumpet (9:1-12): A star falls, opening the bottomless pit, releasing locusts with scorpion-like stings to torment people for 5 months (first “woe”).

6th Trumpet (9:13-21): Four angels are released, leading an army of 200 million to kill a third of mankind with fire, smoke, and brimstone (second “woe”).

Revelation 11:15-19: The 7th trumpet sounds, declaring Christ’s reign: “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever” (11:15). This also introduces the 7 vials.

3. The 7 Vials:

The 7 Vials are the final set of judgments, poured out by angels, bringing God’s wrath to completion.

Location: Revelation 15–16

Details:

Revelation 15:1, 15:5-8: The 7 angels with the 7 vials are introduced: “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God” (15:1). They emerge from the temple in heaven, given vials “full of the wrath of God” (15:7).

Revelation 16:1-21: The vials are poured out:

1st Vial (16:2): A “noisome and grievous sore” upon those with the mark of the beast.

2nd Vial (16:3): The sea turns to blood, killing every living thing in it.

3rd Vial (16:4-7): Rivers and fountains turn to blood, avenging the blood of the saints.

4th Vial (16:8-9): The sun scorches men with fire, yet they blaspheme God.

5th Vial (16:10-11): Darkness covers the beast’s kingdom, causing pain and sores, but people refuse to repent.

6th Vial (16:12-16): The Euphrates River dries up, preparing the way for the kings of the east; demons gather armies for the battle of Armageddon.

7th Vial (16:17-21): A great earthquake, the fall of Babylon, hailstones of a talent (~100 pounds), and the final judgment: “It is done” (16:17).

Overview With Understanding:

Matthew.24:1-51

[1] And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
[2] And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

The unlearned will tell you this was something that happened in 70A.D. that the Roman General named Tides would bring in this earth age (I think not). I don’t understand the stupidly of how someone would teach that or go along with it but many do. Because they don’t want to come to the full truth of how it will be in the end and what God’s elections duty really is.

[3] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

There asking when will this earth age end, what will be the signs of your coming back?

[4] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
[5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

How can you tell if a person is a man of God or not? You tell by the fact of dose he teach the word of God or not, some churches will read only a piece of a verse and then go off into fairytales for 30mins about uncle Bob. That’s not teaching God’s word, he said a lot of people are going to come in my name claiming to be of me and they will deceive you if you lesion. This is why he wrote this letter to you so you would gain the seal of God and retain spiritual discernment.

[6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
[7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

You are told you here “NOT” to be troubled of wars that they will happen, but just the opposite of wars is “PEACE”. When you here peace, peace, world peace that is when you want to pay attention. If you a student of the miner profits, in Amos 8:11 you know that the famines in the end time is not for food it is for hearing the word of God taught chapter by chapter and verse by verse with understanding.

[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.

This word sorrows in the Greek is labor pains, in other words it is about to become a new age. Some teach the the 2nd coming of Christ was in 70A.D. but if you believe that you may believe anything, you’ve already let man deceive you.

[9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

Why, because you testify for him when your delivered up before the false messiah, but if your one of God’s elect you have nothing to worry about. Remember God told Satan that he cant touch a hair on the head for his elect.

[10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Again in Mark.13 you get a closer look at this where people betray each other but you don’t have to sweat it, Luke.21 declares that what you say to the desolators will even be kind of convinced, “why” because it’s not you talking. As it is written your not to premeditate what you’ll say before hand, but Christ will speak through you the holy spirit will speak through you.

[11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Your going to have some bad teachers, they will come in Christ name to deceive and be play actors. But they never get around to teaching God’s word, “why” because it’s controversial. Even in seminaries there told not to teach anything controversial that you may drive away part of the congregation. If a controversial or part of them don’t want to here the truth your better off without them, you don’t need them. You need people that have eyes to see and ears to here and want the truth from God not some false preacher.

[12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Because lawlessness will multiply there will be a chill in the world as far as the true holy spirit having its way with people around the world, its going to be a bad time. That chill will come from Satan and when his time comes he is going to play Jesus for a wile. And the main thing is you don’t want to believe him because he is the one that will deceive the world saying he is Christ and in fact he is Antichrist.

[13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

He counts on you, if your a Christian you act like a Christian you make a stand for a Christian. You stand by God’s law not mans law that’s to say morally speaking.

[14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

How will it reach the whole world? When your offered up to the false Messiah those trials will be televised to the whole world, how he converted you to his way of thinking or tried to. But you must make that stand and let the holy spirit speak through you, as it is written in Mark.13 and that truth dose go around the world and they’ll here it themselves.

[15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

The abomination of desolation is Satan spoken of by Daniel standing in Jerusalem claiming to be the true Christ.

[16] Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Here he give you the geographical location where its going to take place. Judaea is the state within where Jerusalem lies.

[17] Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

This shows you the urgency, what what did people use the house top for in this time? They used it to be a watchman, you as one of God’s elect or a watchman can determine what’s happening what’s going down and the the time of the age how do you judge that by what Christ teaches you. He leaves nothing warning, it’s there so what he is saying is when you see the abomination of desolation that’s Satan standing in the holy place come claiming to be Christ… when you see that you don’t have to go back in the house and take a change of clothes you’re not going to need them the end is here practically this is this that moment of action.

[18] Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

When the time is that close your not going to need a change of clothes, trust me.

[19] And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

Now Christ uses this so you will know his feelings if he comes back and finds you with the false Christ. When he wrote you this letter telling you what will happen. He uses the analogy of a child, this is not a physical child it is blessed to have a physical child so don’t you mothers get excited about it it is not what he is talking about. He is talking about those impregnated spiritually by the false Christ and are in the sack with him. Now what Christ wants you to know is he has feelings also. If you were a husband gone away for two years and you come home and your wife has a baby suckling what does that mean? It means there was unfaithfulness there. And what Christ wants you to know is it hurts him when you stop loving him and allow Satan to deceive you.

[20] But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Why would he say not in the winter? Because this is harvest time, do you harvest in the winter? No you do not. So what he is saying is do not be harvested out of season.

[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

In other words you can count on it, you can read this in the second chapter of Joel and you can read in revelation chapter 9 of how Satan is returning for that 5 months period. You know God is so good to us he gives us Satan’s name and 2 languages in that 9th chapter of revelations blessings letting you know he’s coming to Earth and his name being Abaddon in the Hebrew tongue and Apollyon in the Greek tongue meaning the desolator that he is coming but God does a beautiful thing in the fourth verse of that ninth chapter of revelation, you know what he does… he says to Satan when he’s cast out, you’re going down… you can kill no one and you can’t even touch or sting God’s election you keep your hands off my property those that have the seal of God in their forehead. How do you get the seal of God in your forehead? It means you have absorbed God’s word in your brain. And the reason Satan cant touch you is because you already know the truth. God loves those that are sealed.

[22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

☆35:50

[23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

☆[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

[25] Behold, I have told you before.

[26] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

[27] For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

[28] For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

[30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

[31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

[32] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

☆[33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

☆[34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

☆[35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

☆[36] But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

[37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

[38] For as in the days that were before the flood they (they = nephilim) were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

[39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

[40] Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

[41] Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

[42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

[43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

[44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

[45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

[46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

[47] Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

[48] But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

[49] And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

[50] The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

[51] And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
